In a noble cause, "Bihu" a mega health camp for underprivileged women was organised in Ludhiana on Sunday at Jain Mandir in Dugri. IRS Dr. Maninder Kaur (additional commissioner of income tax), Renowned gynecologists Dr Shirin Garg, Dr Rajni Bansal, Dr Manmeet Kaur, Dr Rachna Sharma & team examined the patients.

This camp was also supported by Nagpal Exports. In this camp around 200 underprivileged women were examined by experts and they were given free iron tablets.

Along with this free blood tests were conducted. Free sanitary pads were distributed to these women and they were educated about keeping menstrual hygiene. They were also taught about doing breast self examination.

The women who turned up for checkup appreciated the efforts of the whole team and lauded the noble cause for which camp was organised.
