On this occasion thesocial24's Prachi Sharma had a special one-to-one conversation with IRS Vrindaba Gohil, Ludhiana Zone’s first woman Custom Commissioner. She is an IRS Officer of 2001 batch and has served on several important positions in the country and abroad for the Indian government.

Speaking to Thesocial24 Gohil informed, she was self motivated to take up this field as she told that in Gujarat there was not much about taking up the civil services examination but she came to know about it from somewhere that in order to be a government officer you need to pass this exam and so she took up this as her career choice and became an IRS Officer. She has worked in Customs, excise and Central GST departments.

IRS Gohil also said, "To all the women out there that it’s the time of women right now and even the government has taken up initiatives like bringing reservation to uplift them now so girls and women should use this as an opportunity and prove themselves in each and every field"
