On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU) Women Entrepreneur Forum (WEF) organised an event "Beyond Barriers- Empowering Women" to recognize the contribution of the women in society and economy as well.

Chief guest of the event was Padamshri Rajni Bector (founder of Cremica Group of Companies,) who shared her whole story of starting and exceling in the industry. Special guest Mridula Jain from Shingora Shawls inspired the women by sharing her story as well.

A brief on CICU was presented by Swarn Dhiman and later on Dr. Priyanka kalra (Psychiatrist) shared a presentation on "Stress Management".

Ikpreet Kaur ((Big Ben Industries) introduced the panel and eight panellists joined the discussion which was moderated by Archana Sarup. Among the panellists were Ishita Thaman (IES , Assistant director MSME) , CS Shivali Gupta, Dietician Sonia Kochar, Megha Garg (Happy Forging), Baljeet Kaur (Psychologist), Sakshi Kapila Sidhu- Corporate Trainer, Shelly Gupta.

The program ended with a thanks note by Ikpreet Kaur and all the guests and panellists were honoured by the WEF members including Dicky Chhabra, Vimi Bajaj, Rajni Sethi and Aishni Sethi.

President Upkar Singh Ahuja appreciated the efforts of the Team and conveyed the thanks to the guests and all the participants.
