Ludhiana: In a big move Aam Admi Party (AAP) led Punjab Government is going to setup a Industrial Advisory Commission in the state with focus on 26 sectors. Each Industrial Advisory Commission will be headed by renwoned person from the relevant industrial sector who will hold the rank equivalent to a cabinet minister. The aim of the Industrial Advisory Commission will be to make business enviornment more conducive and friendly in the state to make the industry globally competitive.

Some of the sectors amongst the 26 chosen to be in the list of Industrial Advisory Commission include Textile, Machine Tools, Sports Goods, Agri & Food Processing, Rice MIlling & Processing, Bicycle and Bicycle components, Agriculture Machinery & Equipment, Alloys & Steel, Auto & Auto Components, Real estate etc.
